Growing tomato plants from seed A. Bed preparation: 1 m width x 15cms depth. Mix the following 1. Vermicompost 2. Azospirillum 50 gms 3. Phosphobacteria 50 gms 4. Pseudomonos 20gms 5. Trichoderma viridi 20 gms Mix and keep it ready before a day. B. Seeds - 120 to 140 gms per acre 1. 3% panja kaviyam (30 ml per litre). 2. Soak the seeds in panja kaviyam for 10 minutes. 3. Dry in a shade place. 4. In the prepared bed, make straight lines of 1.5 to 2 cms depth with a stick. (Leave 10 cms gap between each line.) 5. Cover the seeds with vermicompost instead of sand or soil. 6. After 4 or 5 days you will see the growth of plant coming out of the soil. At this time, spray Amudha Karisal (1%).
